Be back January 15th. Pray the Lakers or any of the players dont do anything wildly amazing and simply win games while I’m gone. Deal? Deal.
A Message from Pau Gasol.
Have a great 4th of July Laker/basketball fans. Stay safe and I hope you get to spend it with the ones you love.
of the 7 teams remaining (Dallas, Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks) who are you rooting for? Who would you like to see lose? and most importantly, who do you think will win the championship?
We had a great run Laker fans. Thank you for all the constant reblogs, likes, and all the great compliments and messages. You’ve been a great bunch and I’m glad we’ve been along for the ride together for such a long time. Two champions ain’t too shabby. Winning a chip is difficult and a team can’t do it every year.
Cheers to the team that brought us so many great memories and so many great highlights. It’s been a fun one! Not every ending ends exactly how you want it and most dynasties leave with a whimper not a blast, but through it all we Laker fans will be back next season rooting for the greatest franchise in all of basketball.
Thank you guys. You’ve been great and I wouldn’t have wanted to share such great memories, highlights, and disappointments with anyone else.
See you next season (with posts trickling in during the off-season). Next season should be a good one, albeit with a lot of changes. It’s going to be weird not seeing Phil Jackson on the sidelines with his noticeable limp and his trademark big chair. How bittersweet it all really is, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Stay true. Purple and gold for life….. Forever LA
